My name is La'Nya Tucker, and I am a senior in Mrs. Peck's service-learning class. Our class is currently split into charity committees in which each committee has to choose something important to us, and we all had some kind of cancer in common. With that being said, my group and I came up with the idea of starting a Christmas toy drive for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. We would like to get everyone in the Riverdale community involved in our project and ask if every team could come together and bring in items for our toy drive. We have attached the flyer with items needed for your convenience, if you would like a color copy, please let me know and I'll be happy to deliver one to you! We currently have three drop-off locations which in the band room, in the lobby of the main building, and in front of the annex office. Please keep in mind that any item brought in must be brand new and, in the package, or with a tag on it.
