Coach Ali Arman
Coach Arman began his coaching career in the spring of 1998 when he took over as the girls soccer coach at Riverdale High School. He coached the girls team from 1998-2008, winning four district championships, one region championship, state tournament appearances in 2006 and 2008 and finished with a record of 121-63-10.
After 2 years coaching the girls Coach Arman took over the boy’s team in 2001. Since that first season in 2001 the boys have won the district 4 times and been runners-up 7 times, won the region tournament 3 times and reached the state tournament in 2006, '08,'10,'11,'12 and '14. His career record with the boy’s team is 194-130-40.
Coach Arman is currently an associate staff coach for United Soccer Coaches for which he helps provide coaching education to coaches in Tennessee and the southeast. Coach Arman is currently the Coaching Education Director for Kings Hammer Murfreesboro and coaches the Boys 2010 Premier 2 Team. Coach Arman served as Director of Coaching for Murfreesboro Soccer Club from 2015-2020. During this time MSC had 4 state championship teams and one Region finalist. He also served as DOC for Stones River FC from 2010-2013.
Coach Arman holds a USSF B License(2019), USSF National Youth License(2013), United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma(2011) and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma(2013).
He
graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from MTSU in 1997 and he
received his master's degree in Industrial Mathematics in 2001. He is
married to wife Jill and they have three sons, Josh, Khalil and Noah
and two grandsons, Benny and Beckham.
